Gift guides
Gift ideas, engraved for good
A personalized cup is the rare gift that gets used daily and kept for years: laser-engraved into genuine Stanley and Owala drinkware, never printed or stickered, so the name is as permanent as the steel. Start from the occasion: every guide below is built from real orders we've engraved and shipped from our Pennsylvania studio, with honest advice on colors, fonts, timing, and what people in that corner of your life actually carry.
Mark the calendar
When to order, by occasion
We engrave and ship the same day on orders placed before 2 PM Eastern, and USPS typically delivers in 2–5 business days, so a week of lead time is comfortable for almost anything. The occasions that reward planning: Mother's Day (order by late April), Teacher Appreciation Week in early May and end-of-year in June, Nurses Week May 6–12, and December holidays (bulk corporate orders book up, so send rosters by Thanksgiving). Weddings run on their own clock: three weeks ahead for proposal boxes, two for getting-ready gifts.
If you're in a hurry
How to choose in thirty seconds
Pick the cup they already use. Stanley people are Stanley people; Owala converts carry the FreeSip everywhere. Matching the bottle they know guarantees the gift gets used daily instead of shelved. If they don't own either yet, the 40 oz Quencher is the crowd-pleaser and the Owala is the practical one.
Then engrave the name they're called, not the name on their birth certificate: Ms. Maddie, NANA, Coach Leah. A script first name is the safest beautiful choice; the split monogram is the sentimental one; block letters are for the bold. Every option previews live with your exact text before you pay, and the engraving is permanent stainless steel, so this is a gift with no wrong answers, only more and less personal ones.
Ordering for a group? Bundles save $5–$10 automatically and 10+ units save 10%, and the bulk page handles rosters, logos, and deadlines.
